Woah Sam! This is EXACTLY the perfect picture! It's the very essence of the country! Just curious-- what is this actually a picture of? It's so right for the book.
If I had to change anything, I'd probably see something a little less "hilly"... more grasslands maybe? But this is pretty much what I pictured. Nice image!
I'm not quite sure what it is actually of Shruthi. It took me a while to find it though! My favorite part is the smoke in the bottom right. I like to think that that is Mrs. Joe making Christmas dinner :)
Haha nice idea Sam, especially since the story starts on Christmas Eve! You're really good at visualizing written scenes (I remember your drawing of Calypso in the wretched Odyssey!)
This is actually a really good image. I think it really grasps what old English countryside would look like. I can just picture the Gargary household on one of those hills on the side of a dirt road!
